How furrerhugi and politik.ch mutually benefit from each other

Switzerland’s well-known public affairs agency furrerhugi has switched its own monitoring tools to politik.ch. This is new territory not only for furrerhugi, but also for us.

In their daily work, the agency has a distinct expertise in the biggest challenges of public affairs practitioners and experts. Whilst I dare to say that I am well acquainted with the needs and demands of our various clients, this bears no resemblance to the level of sophistication and experience of the team of consultants at furrerhugi.

And so, right after the furrerhugi team’s onboarding on politik.ch, we were provided with long and detailed feedback on what might be enhanced and optimized. Several of the issues were already known to us, some were quite new. Collaborative conversations and assessments resulted in an impressive increase in the overall service quality of politik.ch. We may not always have been of the same opinion, but we were always united in the goal of increasing the users’ benefit from politik.ch.

As an example, the National Council and Council of States session reviews are now “more” complete yet comprehensive now, thanks to furrerhugi’s feedback and careful testing. Because not all affairs that are dealt with in the session are officially on the agenda of the session – there is a lot in between. Who would have guessed – politics is complicated.

Furthermore, over the past few months we have developed a visual board report in collaboration with their public affairs specialists. A feature that furrerhugi had built on their toolbox, and that we have now, in the course of their migration, implemented on our platform politik.ch. Again, the close teamwork and domain-specific knowledge on both sides have resulted in a solution that is well worth showing off. Indeed, we are actually rather proud. Plus, we are looking forward to continuing our joint endeavors with the furrerhugis and all of our existing customers.
